Monthly Budget - Fix Income-Expenses

* Fix Income *

With this screen you can add all your fixed income and expenses. The advantage is that once you've added all fix income and expenses, Budget 3.2 will take care to add them automatically every month in the 'Add Income-Expense' section.

Below you can seen the screen used to add fix Income.

Clicking on the first list, you'll enable buttons and fields. All data you'll add to the list can be changed or deleted whenever you want.

The second list shows all data coming from the 'Add Income-Expense' screen. In it are reported all income unforeseen. This data is needed to sum the income balance that you'll find in the bottom of the screen. The balance is done adding the "Fix Income" with the "Foreseen Income".





* Fix Expense *

With this screen you can add all periodical expenses: Rental, Mortgage, Insurance,... Clicking on the first list, you'll enable buttons and fields. All data you'll add to the list can be changed or deleted whenever you want.

The second list shows all data coming from the "Add Income-Expense" screen. In it are reported all expenses un foreseen. This data is needed to sum the expense balance that you'll find in the bottom of the screen. The balance is done adding the "Fixed Expenses" with the "Foreseen Expense"





* How to add a Fixed Income-Expense item *

Click on the 'Add' button.
All fields will be enabled.
Select the group and the detail for this Income/Expense and write a short description.
Specify if the amount you are adding is a monthly or a Yearly amount.
In case of monthly amount Budget 3.2 will ask the number of the months by which the balance will be calculated.

 


Now you have to click on the ´Calculate Monthly Amount´
Based on you previous selections, Budget 3.2 will calculate the monthly and yearly balance.

Budget 3.2 will automatically add this amount at the beginning of the month (in our example $ 6'666).
This means that every time you open Budget 3.2, it will check if the current date is the first day of the month.
In the picture below, you can see that the program added $ 6'666 to the detail "Salary's Husband" in the Income group.

Budget 3.2 will add this amount just once every month.
Click on 'Save' button to save data entered or click 'Cancel' to exit.

Once saved the Fixed Income/Expense amount, you will see the amount added in the Fixed Income/Expense - List.



* Summary *

This page reports calculates your Family Budget.
All calculations are done based on:
1) Fixed Income
2) Unforeseen Income
3) Fixed Expense
4) Unforeseen Expense


Income section
In the first row called ´Fixed Income´ you will see all figures entered in the section Fixed Income.
The row entitled ´Income Unforeseen until today´, shows all figures added in the screen called ´Add Income/Expense´.

Expense section
The Expense row reports all figures entered in the section Fixed Expenses.
´Difference´ is the balance between the Income section and Fixed Expenses.
The row ´Expenses Unforeseen until today´, shows all figures added in the screen called ´Add Income/Expenses´.

Total section
This section reports the spread between the income and expense totals.

Budget session
In this session summarize the availability of your Budget.
The percentage of your Budget until the 31st of December.
The monthly amount you can spend every month until the 31st of December.
The daily amount available until the end of the year.



                                
* History *

This section is important to understand if your life has become more expensive compared to a previous period.
You can also check if you are earning more in comparison to past periods.
This section is linked to the data you entered in the Fixed Income and Fixed Expense section.
The screen is very easy to use.
Just select a range date and press the button ´Compare´.
Budget 3.2 will show you by both percentage and absolute figures your loss and gains compared to 1, 2 or 3 years ago, based on the date range selected.
